Looking after Jubilee Gardens

13th April 2017 | Article By Lee Baker

Keeping the transformed Jubilee Gardens in good condition when they never close and are visited by millions of people each year is a challenge that the South Bank Employers’ Group rises to.

We commissioned the £4.5m project to improve the gardens next to the London Eye, and now on behalf of the Jubilee Gardens Trust oversee the work to manage and maintain them. This involves clearing 37,000 bags of litter and at the busiest times in the summer providing overnight security to protect the refurbished park. We have an agreement with the trust, which is chaired by our former CEO Ted Inman.
