London Eye Community Chest Grants Open

The London Eye Community Chest Grants scheme has reopened, as managed by South Bank and Waterloo Neighbours.

The program is funded by revenue from the London Eye; the scheme previously ran in 2017, prior to the pandemic.

SBEG worked closely with local partners in 2023, including SoWN, WeAreWaterloo and Lambeth Council to commission in depth research of our local area. This was with the aim of building a more complete picture of who is in our area, and what issues our local populations are facing.

The scheme is designed to fund projects which support, build and strengthen the local community in Waterloo and South Bank Ward. You can see the area covered by the scheme here. Projects must principally be for the benefit of communities within this area, though groups from nearby areas may also take part. Projects working with those in particular need will be especially welcome, but so will projects that more generally encourage a sense of local community, and strengthen community resilience.

The deadline for submissions is 11pm on Monday 21 October 2024. For further information on the decision making process, and who is eligible to apply, please see here.
