South Bank Employers’ Group seeks new Chair

South Bank Employers’ Group is seeking a new Chair, to help drive forward SBEG’s innovative vision for South Bank.

Since its inception in 1991, SBEG has been responsible for setting the agenda, facilitating co-operation, and delivering programmes that bring improvement and change across South Bank.

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to our current chair, David Sharpe of Merlin Entertainments, who is stepping down after 15  years in the role. David’s leadership and commitment to SBEG and to South Bank has been crucial in helping to transform the area into the vibrant and dynamic place it is today.

SBEG’s new Chair will play a vitally important role in framing our future strategy, driving forward our plans, and in ensuring that we take an innovative and solution-focused approach to what we do, whilst always working to our values of Partnership, Just, Potent, and Disruptor. Our passion and drive to continually make South Bank even better means we have ambitious plans, and the new Chair will ensure that SBEG continues to deliver to the needs and expectations of our members and partners.
